Happy Mom. Happy Life. Finding Balance w/ Stacy Boegem

AnAppealingPlan Google Hangout On Air 1200x357 Stacy Boegem

Many of my friends are new moms and have struggled with the changes every new moms face, all welcome of course but changes none the less. This was especially true for ones leaving high-profile or fast paced careers. It made me want to speak with someone who not only has been through theses same struggles, but perhaps also has a business around supporting these same women.

Stacy Boegem was living the “good life” in New York City as an attorney. Commuting with her husband to and from work, eating out on a regular basis, as most New Yorke’rs do, and doing her own thing. So what happens when you mix all that with a new baby? And then throw in a move to a new state? Listen in as I talk with Stacy about these changes and how she has created a new “good life”, that could possibly be even happier than the previous version.

A Few Of My Favorite Quotes:

Regarding Family +  Home Life:  “I try to stick to one night of networking per week {so I can be home with my son}.”,  “All my business decisions, after having my child, have to pass my litmus test of: Is this worth it? Is it rewarding enough?”

Regarding Business:    ” With today’s technology, I network in many different ways. I am much more intentional with my time.”, I don’t believe there is such a thing as work – life balance. I like to go for work-life synergy.”

Regarding Entertaining:    ” I am not afraid to entertain with an empty living room.”
