If you have previously attended or used the Google Hangout system you may not need the below System information, however please ensure all systems are functioning prior to logging on for our interview. ALL guests should read the BEST PRACTICE information.

GUEST BEST PRACTICES:
This is a LIVE interview and the edited video will live on YouTube. Imagine you are heading to a news station for a live segment. What would you wear? How would you do your hair? Makeup?
For the best video quality, make sure you are VERY well-lit from a light source that’s coming from behind your camera. Webcams don’t work well in low light situations and I want you to look your best!
Bobble Head Alert: I have found the recorded video displays the image {you} closer than the view you will see on your screen. Consider moving back from your screen to capture more of your body and not just your head.
Although not necessary , the use head phones will help to reduce any feedback from your speakers and also ensure you are able to clearly hear the questions and other conversation. Connect your headphones to your device and test. Headphones with a built-in microphone will dramatically improve your video call experience.
Log in via the link provided to you at least 15 min prior to your interview to confirm all system are a go. I will open the hangout 20 minutes prior. If I am not visible on the screen I will be right back, do not panic.
